Or my turbo stang with side exit exhaust with no muffler under passenger fender in front of tire. It's got a pretty good drone in the car,but that's why they supply ear plugs in the registration goody bad.

Crap. Checked my harness belts last night. They 'expired' in April even though they are in fantastic condition. Stupid NHRA. Maybe I should bill them for unnecessary expenses. lol Better to get a new set than to get bounced in tech I suppose. I've never had a tech guy look at them, but better safe than sorry.

I can assure you that we check in LSR! (Mine in the S-10 will need renewed as it's taken so long to build it).

been my experience that tech at drag week is a bit "rushed". But you still need to have your ducks in a row.

Murphy and his law say that if you don't replace them, they'll check, if you do, they won't.

Buying them now with some time to shop will undoubtedly save you a good deal of cash and aggravation from having to buy them on the spot in Tulsa.

Don't feel bad James, if you replace them they won't look. For DW12 I spent all kinds of money on my car to get it caught up and legal since it had been parked for years prior. They didn't check a single item I purchased. They did check more stuff on DW13 though.

What do you need,Stiney? I know I have some stuff but maybe they're all submarine belts.

the problem is, now, that you'll look guilty and they'll look for the source of your angst. Very common in Court - if you look guilty.... to jail you go... we call it the "you couldn't afford your own lawyer" guilt verdict.

We are resurrecting a 4-seat sand rail, but it only came with 1 RJS harness and it's missing the part where the shoulders and laps join up. Dated belts are very unnecessary for our purposes.

I figured it was sand rail related!

Just looked at my harness and it's stamped oct. 2012 so it's still in for another month. I also purchased an sfi harmonic balancer but it might not get here in time it's the last item I need to make the car legal to a 10.0. They didn't check stuff like that last year but was only teching a 11.50 last year. Do y'all think the balancer will be a big issue if it doesn't arrive in time.

Idk. I put one on mine before 2012 just in case, but they didn't check.
