I know that story.... it's why I'm only taking the buick to the swap meet and not the corvette (that and I should really tell my wife and friends to pound sand when they need my help - not )

Summit's delivery times are amazingly quick.

3hrs to remove the factory metla heater tube. it is a horrible job mainly do to clearance.

i am using a rubber hose. i am not spending $60 on a chincy peice of metal

slight set back. the hose i have is not stiff enough and kept colapsing when i tryed to bend it at a 90* soooo i then had to get creative. i have now foudn a use for a 1978 dodge colt with a mitsubishi 2.6L 4cyl (scary i know)

it's outlet heater hose is premolded in this shape and fits perfectly around the intake witha hose splice i can connetc the other rubber hose and every thing wll still be accessable with out removing the intake incase of future leaks

all in all this will only cost me $16 totals versus the $100 i would of had to spend on the metal hose and water pump outlet

                                progress

here is that heater hose form the doge colt vista

and it looks like an engine

but i doo have a few issues the mustang and CV/MGM is a bit more diffrent then i thought and the new plenum is missing a vacume port of the the PCV system. also it's break booster port is MUCH larger then that on the merc

going to need a vacuum T for there

and find a way to hook up the break booster and EVAP

other then that the cruise controll cable is sticking cuasing the TB to hang WOT so it's off i need to trim it a bit as the opening seems to small for the stud
