We left Charlotte at 8:00 this morning. We knocked down 800 miles in 12 hours. We are in Normal, IL for the night and about 430 miles from home. Tomorrow we get to sleep in our own bed!

Cool trip looks like you had a great time. One day I'd like to do the tour. Speaking of air bubbles, I had that problem on an old '78 Econoline van with a 351W. The problem was a heater hose. It had a slight arc wich was just a little bit above the top hose. I had to tie wrap it down so it wouldn't trap air.

The weather has been really good until yesterday and even then it cleared up for the venue. We went through some places that looked pretty hard hit. My wife says she is having fun.

Made it to Birmingham. Almost got washed off the road but we made it.

We made it to Memphis today and are planning on spending the evening on Beale Street. We are about 1,800 miles into our adventure - about half way. Birmingham is on the radar for tomorrow.

We had good time yesterday in Little Rock. Met up with a few Forum Freaks and the famous blue cooler.

Lockup went haywire today. I unplugged it and the trans seems to be working fine. We are in Texarkana tonight. Hope to make it to Little Rock tomorrow.
