About two weeks ago I spent the weekend in Detroit calling a vintage road racing event that will be broadcast on TV in the coming months. There were loads of old school Indy cars there and the historic open wheelers were really something to see. That experienced really has me keyed up on being able to someday get to Goodwood whether for the historics or even for a members meting type event. This video has me rapt because of the history in motion that you are about to see.
It would be cool to have one neat old F1 car, or five cool old F1 cars profiled but how about 10! This video concentrates on cars from the 1970s. From the high air box era of the early 1970s to the ground effects era of the late 1970s, you’ll surely find something to love in this collection. Heck, the noise alone is amazing as there are a wide variety of different engines to hear.
