(Photos by Bob Chiluk) – Sure that pickup truck likely did not score all that high on the autocross charts the day it attached the contest at the 22nd annual Goodguys Southeastern Nationals but you know the guy behind the wheel was having a blast and that is really all that matters. Bob Chiluk was the guy who attacked the Goodguys Charlotte stop for us with vigor and his images in this last gallery are pretty awesome. From the autocross stuff to the classic hot rods that were on display to the tiny little Divco milk truck you’ll see a couple of kids driving, this was big time fun on every level.
Sometimes we forget how big the car hobby is and how many generations are now involved but we’re a big group. Sure we all have our own tastes and we all have our own preferences on the types of cars we’d like to own, drive, and see at shows, but in the end our goals are all the same. We want to make our cars our own and express ourselves in that way. Goodguys shows with their massive attendance proves this point because while some cars may be similar, no two are exactly alike and neither are their owners.
Enjoy this last trip through the 2015 Goodguys Southeastern Nationals in Charlotte thanks for Bob Chiluk!
