(Photos by Mike and Jon Brooks) – It’s is awesome when the BangShifters of the world venture out and take their camera with them. In this case it was Jon and Mike Brooks hitting the road and long hauling the 2018 Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour. The 2,500 mile trip was one that they will never forget and one that showed them some of the coolest cars in the country out there doing what they were designed to do, get driven!
One of the things that we dig about the photos Mike and Jon sent is that they capture all different stuff. Not just the big dollar builds, not just the typical cars you’d expect. These guys took it to another BangShifty level and we think that you will dig what they captured in their lenses!

My brother (Jon Brooks) flew in to make the trip with me and ended up shooting a good chunk of the photos. We had an amazing time on the Power Tour with our friends. We met some amazing people everywhere, saw some cool scenery, saw tons of cool iron, overcame some mechanical woes and had the adventure of our lives! The 2540 mile trip exposed a couple weaknesses of the C10 that I’m ironing out shortly, but luckily it was nothing that forced us to throw in the towel on our mission to become long haulers.
