As much as it pains us to admit it, cars are largely the same on their face. For wheels, some doors, engine, seats, it’s like checking off a bunch of basic boxes. Now, the magic happens when we go beyond that level and look at how a bunch of those elements are executed, right? This is why some brands, some models, and some people in the industry have risen above the rest. Ferrari is certainly one of them. From the race cars to the amazing road going vehicles, they have been getting it done since Enzo ran the show. They are also a company that has historically enjoy exploring the outer reaches of design and performance with concept cars. That’s what this video is about.
The seven cars shown here range from the wonderful beautiful and eminently buildable, to the weirdest and most odd stuff you have ever seen. What they share though is a reflection of the times in which they were designed and the trends of fashion, style, and culture during that time. We love the fact that pretty much all of them are packing V12 power and that one of these cars was made because Enzo Ferrari was annoyed with being driven around in a Fiat sedan and it wasn’t befitting his larger than life operation mode.
So cool.
