The Internet has done a lot of stuff for the car hobby, but most importantly it has shown the gearhead world that there are amazing cars in all corners of the globe. Thanks to a tip from BangShifter Jeremy George, we were pointed to 59Ford.com, and more specifically to the car collection of Ted and Sharon Forbes who live in Sook, British Columbia, Canada.
Their collection of cars, which they have restored all of by themselves, is amazing. It features some of the neatest and most visually stunning pieces of 1950s iron we have ever seen. Hell, some of the stuff, like the 1958 Pontiac Paisienne convertible, we’ve never actually seen in person.
The dedication it must take to restore cars that were produced in such limited numbers is mind boggling. Between tracking down non-existent parts and physically doing the work. it is a labor of love. The couple keeps everything they restore and they drive these cars everywhere. The website is awesome and each car has a unique story worth reading about.
