We have to thank our European tipster Malcolm for this nugget of carnage goodness. The photos and video you will see after the link were shot at a vintage sports car race in Australia and they depict one bad ass wreck. The driver of the car, a man named Brian Taylor walked away from the incident, but his vintage Porsche 911 was completely and utterly destroyed.
Taylor got caught up in someone else’s mess and while trying to avoid a spinning Corvette he actually crashed into it at a fairly magical angle causing the Porsche to launch 20 feet into the air and roll repeatedly. As you will see in the video, the crash was of a very long duration and Taylor’s quote from the news story seems to back that up. He said that while in the middle of the seemingly endless rolls the car made, he was thinking, “When the hell is this thing going to stop?”
Whoever built the roll cage in this car certainly deserves from praise because of how much punishment it withstood and maintained the proper shape, protecting Taylor in the process. Road racing wrecks are rarely this intense and violent.

Thanks for the tip Malc!
