Auction Commentary in a College Newspaper: Not too Shabby

We were pretty surprised when we ran across a college newspaper commentary about the auction results from the RM “Icons of Speed and Style” auction that went down in Los Angeles a couple of weeks back. It’s cool, really. When we were working on our college newspaper we had to write about junk like campus politics and people protesting dining hall food.

Not Indiana Daily Student writer Chris Nelson. He shares his opinion on the auction, and specifically on the sale of the Little Red Wagon, and what the future is for big-dollar sales of historic drag racing machinery. Although we don’t agree 100 percent with his take, we think it’s cool that it made the paper anyway. There’s hope yet if a college kid even knows what the hell the Little Red Wagon is!
