Tony Stewart is big stuff here in the USA, but apparently his stock is high all over the globe. Stewart will be racing sprint cars in Australia on December 26th at Parramatta City Raceway. This will be the second time Stewart has raced at the track. The first was in 1995.

This whole deal is kind of an affirmation that Stewart is in rare company, perhaps only with Robbie Gordon as being an old school “race anything” type of guy. Judging by the tone of the story from The Sydney Morning Herald, he’s veiwed as a modern day Foyt. Stewart will be mixing it up with Australian racers four times during his stay in the country and we’re going to be interested to see how he does.

We think he’ll bring the noise just as hard as he does here. The guy is a racers’ racer and it is cool that he’s viewed as such not just here, but all the way over there as well. Go get ’em Smoke!
