If this cool 1937 Packard 120 truck doesn’t turn your crank, you are suffering from some sort of mental gearhead shortcoming. This baby is packing loads of late 1930s styling with its swoopy fenders, running boards, and dual side-mounted spare tires. According to the ad we spotted at AutoTraderClassics.com, the truck has been slightly modified from its original state, but thank the heavens, there’s no small block Chevy between those cool fenders.
Rightfully, the Packard is shoved along by a proper inline eight cylinder flathead which probably runs out of steam at about 2500 RPM. That’s no bother though, the cool factor in this truck has nothing to do with power or speed, it’s all style baby!
The interior is perfection as well. With a mile-long shifter coming through the floor, inviting black leather seat, and wooden trim it seems like a long cruise could be hand in comfort. Our favorite part is the Packard Service Car roof light that creates the fun story that this was once a dealership truck.
While resto-grade pre-war cars are not normally in our wheelhouse of things we’d love to score, this truck is truly different and totally unique. There’s like zero chance of being the second guy into a car show with one of these!
