Sometimes these find us. More honestly, they fly right off the screen, slap us, and dare us not to show them to the world. This 1948 F1 Ford truck did just that, and we’re happily obliging it. Not to blow the big surprise, but the seller is looking for $16,900 for this truck. We’ll let you stew on that for a second.
The truck is certainly unique with the complete lack of a front clip but with suicide doors, motorcycle fenders, a tiny, custom made pickup box, entirely exposed steering gear, a 350ci small block Chevy, and a 22-gallon gas tank. We’re going to go out on a limb and say that it is fun to drive for the simple fact that it weighs virtually nothing.
We forgot that it has air conditioning. The a/c must be driving the price to the near $17,000 mark, either that or the entire bed of the truck is stuff with high grade Columbian cocaine. Your guess is as good as ours.
