BangShift Barn Find: A Survivor 1968 Camaro From Ohio

BangShift Barn Find: A Survivor 1968 Camaro From Ohio

These days it is rare for a “barn find” car to actually be found in a barn, but BangShift member Stiney did just that, scoring this totally awesome 1968 RS Camaro from an Ohio barn. Like a slightly dented time capsule, this car was put away and simply forgotten. It is complete right down to the owner’s manual! Stiney is looking to sell the car, which is in running and driving, albeit haggard shape.

Powered by a 327 and a PowerGlide, it wasn’t spec’d out to be a drag racer, but must have had enough grunt to be fun around town. The interior looks to be in great shape and even though it lived in a barn for decades the floors look good and the mouse dookie appears to be at an absolute minimum.

Cars like this one really turn our crank. We’d do the absolute minimum and roll it basically as it sits. For guys who live out west, that’s no big deal. Cars that look like this Camaro are prowling the streets of Southern California as clapped out daily drivers. For those of us living east of the Mississippi, a find like this is really neato!

If you are interested in this car, shoot us an e-mail to [email protected] and we’ll get you in touch with Stiney to talk turkey.
