BangShift.com will be banging out lots of great event coverage from this weekend’s 2009 NHRA National Hot Rod Reunion held at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
We’ll be on hand to capture in photos and video all the neat stuff that will be happening on the track, in the pits, and like the old days, in the hotel parking lots.
You can expect daily photo updates of the racing and show action along with as much video as we can churn out before collapsing at the end of the night.
The volume and quality of cars that will be at Beech Bend is mind blowing. We’re talking nostalgia nitro Funny Cars, Top Fuel dragsters, Fuel Altereds, SS/AH shootout Hemi Darts and Cudas, and enough killer sportsman action to make even the hardest core drag geek break down and cry.
The action starts on Friday and ends on Sunday night. If you are going to be at the race, track us down. We’ll be the guys with our faces planted directly over the zoomies of a Fuel dragster or Funny Car. We’ll also be sporting our BangShift.com garb so we won’t be hard to miss.
