BangShift.com Will Have Live Video From the WCHRA Race March 27-28, 2010

Breaking news! BangShift.com is proud to announce that we will be broadcasting live video from the West Coast Hot Rod Association season opener at Auto Club Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield March 27th and 28th. The WCHRA is a street-car sanctioning body with all the classes you’d expect, and some you would not, like the super hairy True 8.5 class. That’s right, 8.5-inch slicks! Those cars black-track sideways down the whole track.

The WCHRA’s Tim Rigby, in hopes of bringing even more attention to the west coast’s best drag racers, has partnered with BangShift.com for the first WCHRA event of 2010, but planning is underway to have live coverage of all five of the WCHRA’s 2010 events. Rigsby, a long time drag racer and strong proponent of events that cater to the racers as well as the fans, feels that taking this step will once again help the racers while also providing even more exposure for the series sponsors.

With BangShift.com’s live streaming video available to households, offices, bars and coffee shops around the world, sportsman racers have another way to expose their sponsors to the fans as well. And in these tough economic times, keeping sponsors happy is really important. In addition, live streaming video provides a great way for families at home to watch Mom and Dad racing.

With series standouts like Bluebaugh Racing, Randy Walker, John Mihovetz, Doug Sikora, and Rich Hoyle all going for WCHRA Championships in 2010 and new comers like the Renteria Brothers and their four-door ’65 Valiant, the on track action for 2010 should be more exciting than ever.

Stay tuned for all the action, as it happens, live here at BangShift.com straight from the famed quarter-mile at Famoso.
