BangShift Question of the Day: What’s More Fun?

BangShift Question of the Day: What’s More Fun?

We’ve been thinking of something since we departed Las Vegas last week. The question that has been running through our feeble mind is pretty basic. It actually cuts right down to the core of the modern street machine/domestic performance scene. The question?

What would be more fun to own, a full on Pro Street car or a full on Pro Touring car?

With the likes of Hot Rod Magazine Drag Week and the Optima Ultimate Street Car Challenge showcasing the top of the food chain on both sides of the fence we’ve really been thinking which genre of car would be more fun to have in our personal garage. Larson and Lutz have two of the most insane Pro Street rides in the world and they proved that the combos can live in normal conditions on the highways and byways. Brett and the boys at RideTech along with Kyle and Stacy at Detroit Speed pilot cars that could make your innards shift positions in the corners and we can’t decide which sensation would be more fun to have at the end of our foot, cider press acceleration or centrifuge like cornering forces.

We’re interested in your opinion, so spill it!

(Oh and before you throw sticks at us for using a photo of Al Eckstrand’s Lawman Boss 429 Mustang as a “Pro Street” reference, we know it isn’t but other than Larson’s car it was the only thing really close to a “Pro Street” machine at SEMA. Pro Street ain’t dead, but it seems to be hibernating.)
