While recently looking for a small utility trailer for cheap, which does not exist by the way, we found a few of them made from pickup beds. That got us thinking about the ones that guys have that look like the back of a street rod, and the guys who have built them from the rear of cars with couches built in and such. We are cool with the pickup bed utility trailer, but with rare exception we don’t like the other ones. I mean how many lawn chairs do you need to bring with you?
Here are some examples. What do you think? Is it cool to have a trailer made to look like some part of a car?
The first one is just stupid looking. The second is better with just the trunk section. The pickup bed trailer is the best but that one above is just tacky.

Most homemade trailers look like you were too poor to buy a real one.
it’s a little flashy for me, but hey, if you have the time, money, and it makes you happy, rock on. Some are done better than others. As far as trailers go, the DirtyBird trailer is a total win. No competition. All trailers should have a kegerator and a pit bike and enough space left over for tools and parts to do a complete engine overhaul on the side of the road.
Okay, I’ll back up and say with a Kegerator and a pit bike, you’re pretty covered.
