BangShift Question Of The Day: What Race Track Or Location Do You Most Want To Make A Lap Of?

BangShift Question Of The Day: What Race Track Or Location Do You Most Want To Make A Lap Of?

Since the NHRA Winternationals are under way we’re back to thinking about racing and our upcoming adventures for the 2013 season. Those adventures will take us to drag strips, road courses, mud bogs, runways, circle tracks, the salt of Bonneville, the dirt of El Mirage, and probably the top of the frozen lake somewhere as well. There are hundreds of racing facilities across the USA and if we’re expanding to the world, than that number jumps substantially. We’re interested in hearing about the one track you’d most want to make a lap of.

Maybe it’s tearing down the salt as fast as your junk will go or making a hit at George Ray’s Wildcat Drag Strip to recapture some of the simplistic cool that lots of drag racing has lost. If neither of those things get you going maybe a lap on the high banks of Talladega or the bullring of Bristol will tickle your fancy. No? How about the ‘Ring in Germany or historic Watkins Glen International Raceway in America? You tell us!

I have made a touring lap (not at speed) in my Mustang around Road America and have been down the strip at Wisconsin International Raceway. I think it would be a blast to take a lap around Laguna Seca.

Bathurst, although I have walked the track, does that count??! Would also love to take our Lemons car out to Laguna Seca one day
