This is more of a dealership name but always like the Royal Bobcat GTO. Also Duster Twister.

Marauder (after the WWII Martin B-26 Marauder)

Definition:To rove and raid in search of plunder; To raid or pillage for spoils.

GMC’s “Gentleman Jim”? ‘Not really that manly, huh?

Maybe Desoto’s “Adventurer”? I believe they had cool-lookin’ chrome helmeted Conquistador on the hood.

Ah, that was so long ago…

My vote is on DeSoto’s FireDome

It’s like thunderdome, but with hemi’s and fire.

Or UltraVan, because supervan just wasn’t good enough.

“Fire” was used a lot, although I wonder about the wisdom of it.
    Starfire
    Jetfire
    Spitfire
    Firebird
    Firedome

Unimog is just fun to say.

Mercury Turnpike Cruiser is just so descriptive.

I think though I’ll go with Barracuda. It sounds fast and aggressive.

Ive been a volkswagen lover for years, and ive always like the name Scirocco, which means “hurricane force wind”

I’m a Chevy guy, too. However… it came out of the showrooms with an aura of something new, special, powerful, quick, something to be feared on the streets. Considered by aficionados to be the “first” muscle car, Pontiac did it with the simple name “GTO.”

i’d have to go with either GREMLIN,or (kaiser-frazier) DRAGON—- a mythical troll,or a mythical beast

Stingray or Sting Ray, depending on the model year. Also, at the time, Chrysler was considered very risqué in naming the Dart “Swinger”.

C’mon, it has to be the “Touring Bruce” by Subaru.

    or the

    Gravel Express also by Subaru.

But really it has to be the Wildcat.
