BangShift Question Of The Day: Which Professional Race Car Would You Most Want To Drive? Be Specific

So let’s say that John Force, Don Schumacher, Morgan Lucas, Richard Childress, Penske, Ganassi, Brian Deegan, Travis Pastrana, Williams F1, and every other professional race team owner on the planet earth walked up to you at the exact same time and said “We want you to drive our race car/truck/whatever for the remainder of 2013, which one would you choose? Interesting one don’t you think? Do you take the Funny Car ride with John Force? Or the Lucas Oil Off Road Series ride with Brian Deegan’s team? How about Ganassi’s Indy Car team? There are literally thousands of cars and/or trucks that you could get behind the wheel of at a moments notice in this dream scenario.

How much money are they paying, you ask? Aaaaaahhhhhh. Let’s make it stupid money regardless of which one you choose so that money is not the determining factor. Say $10million dollars for the remainder of 2013.

So, money isn’t a concern, you can race in any series, in any vehicle, on any team in the world. Which one do you choose?

No offense to WJ but I would like to drive his car because I think my reaction times are much better.

In the absence of a Ford ACO Prototype, I’d want to drive one of the factory Audi Prototypes in the 24 Heurs du Le Mans.

All night long at Le Mans in an Audi would be cool, but a front running Ford at Bathhurst for the 1000 would make for a fun day.
You said for the season though, “A” number ONE have to take the F1 space machine!

Id even drive a Torro Rosso.

    1970 Chevelle Mlibu, 468bbc, Muncie M21 Tranny.

Drag Cars are limited to Drag Strips. Formula Cars are cool, but only on Race Tracks. I would have to choose the Off road Truck. Why the Off road truck? The Off road truck you can still drive it as a weekend toy. You can take it on the street, dirt, snow, dunes, and ext. Drag Cars and F1 Cars are bad ass. I’d rather watch Baja, F1, and Drag racing over Football, and Basketball any day.

Pro Stock. You have to steer and shift while driving a car that has enough power to get yourself in trouble.

  6. Justin Lewis

A friend of mine and me were just talking about something similar this morning. He stated a T/F dragster because the all out power they have. I agreed. But my resonse was I would rather go for a ride in a Military Raptor, F-18, F-16 because the thrust would be somewhat similar but the length of the expierience is much longer.

  7. S/ST Pickup

Tom Snyder’s “Pappy’s Pride” A/A comp eliminator altered. Pro stock motor, 1800 lbs, shift the Lenco between your knees with one hand while driving with the other from lock to lock because the front end is so light under power that you just kind of heard it down the track

The blue max,but in 2013 funny car trim with the 1970-71 paint sccheme,of course some one else would have to bring out the chi town hustler.
