We sincerely hope that the driver of this car hauler has an excellent reason for why his truck, trailer and load of expensive cars wound up on it’s side near Paris, France a few days ago. We hope that he has some kind of “smoking gun” kind of evidence, something like dash cam footage of a car cutting him off or a mechanical failure that was beyond their control…because the scene doesn’t look good from where we are sitting. Not only is his tractor and trailer laying down, but so are the contents of the car hauler: just from what we can see a Shelby GT500, two Lamborghinis and a Ferrari F430 bit the dust, and that doesn’t even count what other cars were being hauled. Even without knowing for sure what was in the trailer, those four cars together make up about a million dollars’ worth of rolling stock that is now dumped on it’s side on a French motorway instead of heading to someone’s driveway or dealership. That’s the kind of day that ends at the bar if you’re lucky and the unemployment line if the driver is at fault. There are so many “I wish I could be a fly on the wall” conversations that had to have come out of this one accident…which one would you want to hear?
