There are loads of vehicles that make people smile at the SEMA show every year. There are a hand full of them that cause people to stop in their tracks, smile, and check it out. This is one of those vehicles. Known as Project Two-Tone and built by the guys at Rancho Shocks it is a massive, retro-awesome pickup that we’re in love with. These guys are not the first to apply the retro look onto a modern truck but the results here are incredible.
The red and white paint perfectly matches the Rancho Shocks company colors. The front chrome push bumper with the winch is too damned good. The interior features an Indian blanket style of seat cover that’s clearly ties at the bottom. The wheels are 20″ rollers but they are proportional to the truck and their hole design looks radical. The thing has had an exhaust added and there’s one more major think that really hooked us. That’s the KC Day-liters and the twin tube greatness of the chrome roll bar that is tucked into the bed. A rumbling exhaust completes the big notes of the package.
So there we have it. The coolest freaking truck at the 2018 SEMA show.
This is way cooler than any of the 26×14 rolling flat bill sleeve tat trucks that are out there.
you wouldn’t believe the number of bro-trucks here…
I like it. It’s like a new take on the Ford style of the 80’s and 90’s.
meh – a Chevy dealer did it a year ago…
Looks like the lousy 1980 – 1986 trucks with computer carbs.
Meh worthy news
Like it, hate when wheels don’t fit under the fenders or flairs though
Needs a 1/4″ red stripe 1/4″ inbound on the white.
I like it
I bought a brand new 1989 F350 CrewCab in this exact (OK, close) paint scheme!
Yeah, but the rest of the new pickups arriving in the next couple of years don’t have good body lines to make a good looking two tone.
Ugly new truck looking like an ugly old truck. No thanks on the brodozer.
Looks great. I grew up loving this style on trucks in the 1980s.
It also makes a change from matte/textured black/bronze/grey/cammo that every one seems to have stuck on for the last few years.
Its just 2 tone paint, settle down boys. If this kinda stuff gets ya going look out vinyl roof trucks
