Yeovil, England will play host to the national Power Tool Drag Racing Championship this weekend. Unfortunately we’ll not be there to cover the event, but that doesn’t mean some of our English BangShift readers won’t be! Running down a 320ft strip, some of these wild creations can achieve speeds of 70mph!
Like normal drag races there are privateer sportsman entries and pro level machines backed by tool companies and other entities. The contraption featured in the lead photo and down below this text is powered by six circular saws. We have no idea if that is good or bad, but if we built it, it would probably have sixteen circular saws on it. That would probably be bad.
If you’re around Yeovil this weekend, check this craziness out and bring a camera! Also we’d recommend chain mail armor to prevent injuries from flying circular saw blades, sanding belts, and drill bits.
