Brad Kaselowski was called to a private meeting with NASCAR officials before Sunday’s race, according to an Associated Press story. The meeting centered around Kaselowski’s agressive driving and the fact he’s crashed into Denny Hamlin and wrecked him five times since last season. We bet he said it was just a coincidence.
Almost more noteworthy than the subject matter were the people who attended. The typical guys were there, such as NASCAR President Mike Helton, but a suprise member of the panel was Brian France himself. Kaselowski claimed to be happy to have France involved in the meeting, saying, “It’s really the first time I’ve ever had a conversation with him. I think it’s a good sign for the sport that he was involved in that conversation.”
Hamlin was so pissed about the latest incident during Saturday’s Nationwide race, he essentially told the press that he was going to crash into Kaselowski on purpose at next week’s season finale down at Homestead, Florida.
