Just a short while ago, an appeals court judge upheld NASCAR’s suspension of Jeremy Mayfield. The judge ruled that the suspension is in effect until NASCAR and Mayfield do battle in a court room to settle this once and for all.

This is little more than a formality though as Mayfield’s team is disbanded and he had no plans to race this weekend at Indy. Mayfield’s lawyers have vowed that this will not slow them in their quest to exonerate their client.
