While I am not a huge country music fan, I do love trucks and this video is chock full of them. Not only that, they are cool old trucks blowing donuts, throwing rocks, and burning out. Lots of country music songs reference pickup trucks in a somber and sad tone of woe, but this one celebrates ’em! The song is a fun tune that doesn’t involve anyone’s dog dying, no alcoholism, and no real deep thought. Just the way we likes ’em! It made it to number 11 on the country charts last year and you can still run into it on the radio when cruising if you are a fan of country. I am pretty sure I heard it a half dozen times during last week’s trip to Denver and the Diesel Power Challenge. Those were a bunch of country boys who had adopted this one as their anthem!

That video was shot just down the road from Coker Tire at the old U.S. Pipe building on the outskirts of downtown Chattanooga. I’ve photographed a few cars there…killer spot.
I’ve been to Cokeyville a few times. Love the place.
I remember the song on the radio, but haven’t seen the video until now. I hope the girl was the owner and driver of that truck and not some model. That would really be bitchin.
GAWWD. I have found a new anthem.
LOVE some square body Chevys! My sisters boyfriends Ford truck was in the video too. It’s the Blue and white one with big tires in the slow rolling part. Cool song, cool trucks and cool place! Go big Chattanooga!
