It is being widely reported that the Camaro has outsold the Mustang for the first time since 1993. It was a volume difference of just 2,000 cars, but it shows that the Camaro, despite the horrible condition of both the economy and GM is a hit among pony car fans.

The true test will come at the end of the sales year when the tallies are turned in. The reason? It’s been 24 years since the Camaro outsold the Mustang for an entire year. That year was 1985, when the mullets were long and the gas was cheap.
