We were grabbed by this headline, too, as we suspected the worst. We thought we were going to be reading about a cop taking on all comers in a hot rodded Crown Vic or Hemi powered Charger. Instead we got frustrated by a stupid law.
As you’ll read with more detail in the piece, the policeman in question was doing nothing more than speeding. He was not actively engaged in a race with anyone and apparently once you breech a certain speed level the law immediately goes into the “street race” category.
