Caption This: Failure To Properly Secure Load, Driving With Head Up Rectum…

Truckers and railroad workers, tow truck operators and the like will tell you like I will tell you: there is a right way and a wrong way to secure your load. Cross-strapping, anchored down and away from the main hook points, in a way that pulls the load onto the surface and reduces the load’s ability to physically shift is key. Okay, enough jargon. When it comes to loading a car, you want to go from the most solid, unmovable point on a car, like a frame, major subframe section, or a solid axle, away and out from the car. You want at the barest minimum one tie-down at the front and the rear, so that the car doesn’t go anywhere…if the car tries to move forward it can’t, and vice-versa. Ideally you want at least four tie-downs, two front, two rear, from the underside to away from the car.

Unless you’re hauling the stripped and gutted shell of a 1995 Kia Sephia to the scrapyard and you truly don’t give a rat’s ass about what happens along the way, you don’t run a ratchet strap over the car and I don’t care how shot they might be, you don’t do that to a 1969 Hurst/Olds and 1969 GTO Judge! The CHP isn’t too keen on what they’re looking at besides a few laws broken (no shock there…) but every car geek who sees these pictures will cringe while wondering two things:

1. WHY?!?!
2. WTF WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!

Someone wanted these two cars delivered. Can you imagine how pissed off they are, knowing that someone with the I.Q. of warm mayonnaise just kept cranking down on a ratchet strap until the fender folded down?

Being stupid and a moron can make hell for others. However if i was to move a car with this much value and that is impossible to replace, i would make sure my shipper new what the hell he was doing. It is not the right thing to try and save a Buck on. This guy dont know much about what he is doing, and could besides damage the cars pontetial kill some poor innocent people in the process.

Before you get on your high horses and start calling people stupid you should know the facts first, maybe they were just being moved down the street or something. I’m sure many of you that follow bangshift have done many things that were not on the up and up.

Nevada to Missouri. The owner of the cars is in the comments of the Facebook post. He wasn’t happy either.

It doesn’t matter if you’re moving em 6 feet, strapping a car down like this is stupid. Doing it hard enough to crease the fenders is moronic, but to try and defend it hammys me think it was ole Six point six himself

Too bad we can’t see the company signs on the truck. Inverted Cranial Rectal Plexiglasys… when you have your head so far up your _ _ _ that you need a piece of plexiglas in your bellybutton to be able to see where you’re going!
