We’ve all been there. A friend, sometimes a girl, asks you to survey some issue they are having with their car. You do the good thing and take a look (remember, the road to Hell is paved with good intentions) only to discover some amazingly brazen act of automotive neglect. Something that any gearhead worth his spit would never allow to occur. 

The photos below show such a situation. They were taken by BangShift member Thumpin455 with another BS member, Walt, acting as a model (and we use that term with cosmic looseness). Just as the situation described above laid out, Thumpin455 was approached to do a brake job on a car owned by a friend. Walt is a college student and fellow Michigander, so he popped down to the shop to lend a hand and get away from the average weekend college experience of eating Cheetos and waching sports.
