Necessity is the mother of invention and beer is the catalyst for creative hackery. We’re not sure but we think this snowmobile hauler was created by one drunken mother! Arlid is a cool dude and posts lots of awesome stuff from the land where two feet of snow is a dusting.
For those of you not familiar with what a “winter beater” is, we’ll tell you. Folks living in the northern climates that get slammed with snow (wait, that’s 49 states right now) and whose roads get heavily salted sometimes park their nice daily driver and buy a piece of crapola, short money car to drive in the junk weather. This practice is also being used over in Norway by the looks of this photo.
It was pure genius to take a Sawzall to the gigundo trucnk area of this Dodge and create the perfect nook to haul your snow machine in. Hell, the added weight back there probably helps tons for snow traction.
