Danny Morrison won the Spirit of Drag Week award on Hot Rod Drag Week 2010. He’s a great dude with a big heart and a big everything else, the guy is a freaking giant. He’s also a wiz with the wrenches and lent a hand to anyone and everyone that needed it.
In this photo he has been pressed into service by Walt Reynolds, Chad’s dad. His kick ass Camaro experienced clutch problems during the event and had to be limped into the track mid-week and idled down just to get a time slip.
After the slip was got, the thrash was on, BangShift style. We got this shot of Danny literally diving head first into the fray. It is needing a snappy caption bad! It should be noted that a few minutes after this was taken, Danny was seen juggling four speed transmissions like bowling pins. No photos exist of that sadly.
