When your backyard is Bowling Green, Kentucky, you can’t help but notice the Corvettes everywhere normally. The city has pretty much prospered from the second that General Motors decided to move Corvette production from St. Louis to the area. And with it came the people dedicated to the cars: the owners, the racers, the historians, and those curious to see how the National Corvette Museum dealt with the biggest surprise they have ever had to deal with. And don’t forget the racers: last year the NCM Motorsports Park track opened up, but the track has been seasoned in, the garages are up, the Holley timing tower is still in progress, and angry neighbors be damned, there was racing going on! Timed beautifully before LS Fest invades the area, the Museum’s anniversary brings all sorts of cars in, from every generation, many clubs from around the country, and even everyday people who just want to look at some cool cars.
This is very nice. Is the Michelin man made of fiberglass? 😛
