Even though there will always be the V8-or-die group in the world of Mustangs, a four-banger with a turbo from Ford isn’t something to sneeze at. Ford seriously gave turbocharged 2.3s a shot starting with the beginning of the Fox bodies, though there were plenty of teething issues that needed to be dealt with. To be fair to Ford (and Pontiac, and everyone else who tried turbos in the late 1970s-very early 1980s) there were problems across the board. Then you have Mustang SVO and the Thunderbird Turbo Coupe, which managed to get the turbo formula down well enough to be useable. Nowadays, you can buy a turbo-four Mustang, again sporting 2.3 liters of displacement, but this time you’re getting over 300 horsepower no sweat. But there’s a catch: the weight of all of the safety nannies has crept into the picture, too. So, what to do…
This eye-searing orange Fox coupe has received the heartbeat of a late-model Mustang, and no, not a Coyote. Four cylinders, a small turbo upgrade (nobody is going to notice the Precision unit in place of the stock turbo, will they?) and plenty of custom touches like the paint, the body work, the restoration work and more all need to be seen. The 2.3L has a stout snarl to it and the Precision turbo isn’t the least bit shy about making itself known. Daily driver goals? There’s plenty of cheap four-banger Fox bodies on Craigslist…what are you waiting on?
Cool.
Why???

Mo’s speed shop do amazing work, what I have seen. The small details what makes them amazing. The c10 with the coyote motor looks like a factor install. Pictures doesn’t do them Justice. Better to see those hotrod in person.
Another award winning job by Mo’s Speed Shop. They keep on churning out amazing builds. Head of the pack
Amazing work comes from MOs speed shop out of Dallas Georgia from owner Marty Ochs and his 8 person crew. I personally follow his work and have purchased several custom tunes for my Panthers turning my grocery church going grandpa looking crown vics and Grand marquis to some of the quickest stock 4 doors I’ve ever owned. I’m a few parts away from sending MOs speed shop my Marauder to have Marty and his crew to Installing a Eaton. I’m so excited to see what they can do to my Emily❣
