Meet “Twork”, The Only Chrysler Sebring Mud Truck That Could Possibly Exist On The Planet

It takes a sick, sick mind to come up with this kind of combination, it really does. Some of the trars we’ve featured here over the years lend themselves nicely to the treatment, some are the redneck slap-togethers that a lot of people expect…and then you get something like this. What you have is a 1996-2000 Chrysler Sebring convertible, in a fetching shade of purple, mounted on a full frame equipped with Rockwells and set up as a mud truck.

The Sebring, for everyone who doesn’t give a rat’s backside about it, was Chrysler’s replacement for the LeBaron. They made two versions in this generation: a coupe that, for simplicity’s sake, was a stretched Mitsubishi Eclipse, and the droptop, which was on a version of the “cloud car” JA-platform. Outside of old ladies and every rental-car business in the United States, the Sebring was a snoozer of the highest order. I’m not going to suggest that mind-altering chemicals were being used when this mud runner was built…I’m going to straight-up accuse the builders of it. A mud truck made from a purple Chrysler drop-top…I can honestly say I never saw this coming!
