While it is cool to see barn find videos where they drag a car out and try to get it running, they usually don’t get cleaned up much, or go straight to being restored. In this video we see a nearly forgotten 390 horsepower 454 Corvette get detailed after sitting outside for 18 years under a tree in Washington state. It’s wet there and if this thing was a steel car it would have rotted away, but because it is fiberglass it somehow survived. Keep in mind, the amount of dirt and moss and whatever that is growing in, on, and under this car is going to be something else to clean, but the process and the before and after are pretty impressive.
This car is apparently going to get an eventual restoration but they wanted to see just how clean they could get it before that happens, including some paint fixes where possible. This is cool.

I wonder how the birdcage is? Corvettes can have serious rust issues.
I was thinking about the frame, I hope its not rusted, it is a cool Corvette worthy of a restoration.
