Check Out The New Products That Auto Meter Rolled Out For SEMA 2016! Need Gauges? They’ve Got ‘Em!

Ever since 1957, Auto Meter has been at the forefront of aftermarket gauges for the performance car community. They are one of the most recognizable brands in the aftermarket in terms of gauges, and we are proud to say that they were our first choice for a tachometer for our Project Raven Imperial. It’s simple: they make products that work, are clear to read, and don’t require a PhD. to install. Whether you just need a monitoring gauge or want to redo the entire dashboard on your project car, Auto Meter has a wide variety of products that can suit your application.

For SEMA 2016, the company brought out several new items:

The AirDrive system is now shipping out. This system utilizes the OBD-II port in your vehicle to configure gauges wirelessly and to customize gauges via a free app that can be dowloaded to a smart phone or a tablet. So if you want to color-match to factory specs or if you want neon pink gauges (or just about any other color your heart desires), you can go into the app and tune either the black-faced or silver-faced gauges until you are happy.

sema-2016-tues_103DashLink is an available app that is currently available for Android systems and will soon be available for iOS systems. It connects to the vehicle via OBD-II and provides vehicle monitoring as well as providing an electronic set of Auto Meter gauges, performance readings, OBD code readings, data logging, and race course track mapping via GPS.

Diesel guys, they haven’t forgotten about you. This diesel tachometer adapter creates a standard tachometer signal that can be picked up by any Auto Meter gauges, and a new low-rev tachometer that is available in a number of Auto Meter designs and two sizes, 3 3/8 inch and 5 inch diameters. The tachometer has a sweep from 0-6,000 RPM, which should suit most buyers just fine. If you’re revving a diesel to 7,000 RPM or higher, please…send us the video!

Additional screens have been added in, configurable warning sections have been added to gauge readouts, additional CAN supports have been added in for different aftermarket EMS applications, and real-time graphing on the dash itself that will automatically scale for the data.

sema-2016-tues_98Last but certainly not least are the new Hoonigan tire pressure gauges, which should be available next Spring. Built to Auto Meter’s strict standards, the gauge adds a little bit of sport to the standard tire pressure gauge.
