This should get your blood pressure kicked up a notch. China is “investigating” the possibility of putting import tariffs on vehicles made by GM, Ford, and Dodge. Experts believe that this is in response to the US imposing a tariff on Chinese made tires.
In a Reuters news story it is reported that about 9,000 vehicles from the companies in question are imported per year. The good news is that Chinese made goods are still flooding over our borders at a record pace and facing no tariffs at all.
This “investigation” will without a doubt end with China charging tarriffs for American made stuff, while we gobble up their junk for nothing at all.
