With the recent news that the Cash for Clunkers program is spurring on the sales of trucks and SUVs more than it is for economy minded cars, we got to thinking when we heard that Chrysler was ramping up its truck production.
The evidence points to that fact, even though a company official who CNN tried to speak with did not want to comment on the matter. Anyway, the no comment speaks volumes to the fact that the car companies are so fearful of saying anything that could be counter to the vision or rehtoric of politicians in recent weeks.
The 2009 Ram has gotten lots of good reviews and can really be considered as good a truck as anything that Ford and GM are producing.
