Jeff Wolf is a highly respected columnist for the Las Vegas Review Journal newspaper. He often has interesting takes on the worlds of drag racing and Stock Car racing. He never spares the rod when he sees something that defies logic, that he doesn’t agree with, or that just seems wrong. This time NASCAR gets a face full.
By mirroring the situations of both NASCAR and the NHRA Wolf aims to point out the seemingly divergent tracks the two organizations are on as their respective seasons draw to a close. NASCAR coming off a race at Talladega that wasn’t exactly “instant classic” material, outside of a couple massive wrecks, and the NHRA coming off an epic race in Las Vegas and steaming toward their finals this weekend with some incredibly interesting potential championship scenarios.
