We’ve been quietly longing to go budget beater stock car racing for some time now. The gallery we posted earlier in the week from the dirt Battleground Speedway really got our gears turning. Buying this awesome Pinto race car operation would result in the immediate and permanent termination of our marriage, but it looks like a killer deal for someone else. Hell, we’re already in Maine right now so we could scope it out! The car looks to be well used, but there’s a ton of stuff that comes with it.
For the asking price of $4,000 the buyer gets one wrinkly 1978 Pinto with a 2.3L four banger and the trailer. They also get eight tires, four storage tires on wheels, a spare 2.3 and transmission, two additional 2.3 engines, a spare lexan windshield, spare battery, four spare fenders, a spare hood, hell, we’ll spare you the rest and simply say that you could have a two car Pinto team with all this stuff!
Plunk the four k down early today and pull it into the race track tonight! Plus it is a Pinto, which just rules.
