You all know and love Dave Nutting as our G-body obsessed blogging sidekick here on BangShift but after six or eighteen of you sent us an e-mail about the totally jacked up “shorty” Monte Carlo currently for sale on Craigslist, we had to investigate. Not only did we investigate, we immediately set forth tormenting Nutting about the car, asking himif he would own it. There was a flaw in our plan though and that was the fact that Nutting is so blinded by love that he would drive virtually any G-Body and even he would not admit to hating this. Sure, his initial reaction was tough:

So Nutting was initially hating me but it was not long until his G-body fetish took over and he told me that he would drive the car without shame. Interestingly, the last guy I knew that drove a car with a 76″ wheelbase worked for the circus. None of that slowed Nutting down and the ad was like manna from heaven for him. The stock 305 is still providing the power, backed by an overdrive transmission. The owner claims that it handles like a go-kart which proves that the guy has never driven a go kart. The seller also claims that the car get more attention than anything else at a car show. We believe that for all the wrong reasons.

Bottom line….Nutting said he would drive it. That may be a fireable offense.
