It is amazing what you can find on Craigslist! We first saw the vintage McCulloch Supercharger below and were drooling over it when we decided to do a bit more searching and found the Paxton, Judson, and Magnacharger as well. Then we saw what we believe is an old Rayjay small block turbo setup, but we can’t be certain. Either way, all of these are cool ways to make boost on something neat and old. The Judson is specifically designed to be installed on an old Mercedes 190SL but we’re pretty sure you could make that sucker look good on almost anything. What vintage engine combo do you have that would look good with one of these on top?

VINTAGE MAGNACHARGER
Super cool Magnacharger blower setup. This is a small cfm setup similar to the B&M 144 or Weiand 142 units but is slightly smaller in length. it comes with a billet swing arm, top pulley, idler pulley and mounting bracket. The top pulley accepts a 2 inch cog belt. Blower currently rides on a neat 4 banger intake with a neat pop off valve on the rear The original application of the intake is unknown, but this blower can be adapted to most any 4 banger, 6 banger, or small V8 application. A custom intake plate can be made for most any carb or EFI injector setup. Great for Flathead conversion. Blower has some really cool looking polishing and looks great. I remember seeing a Magnacharger setup that size for VW engines. Wonder if it’s the same thing. Also didn’t Accell make a turbo setup like this in the 70’s?
