Got to thank BangShifter Ron Ward for turning me on to this sale going on out in Great Bend, Kansas. This is a potential treasure trove of cars and trucks that is up for sale. The vehicles run a broad range of years, from a 1936 Ford truck to a 1978 Cadillac Eldorado that came from an estate sale. Most of the bodies look to be complete, excepting two early Camaro shells, and rust appears to be minimal. There are a couple of drive-away gems, including a decently clean ’73 Buick Century two-door and a 1972 Cadillac Coupe de Ville. All of the prices seem to be about the same, as well. I’m not well-versed in pricing before 1960, but it doesn’t appear to be too outlandish (except maybe the ’36 Ford and the ’69 X-11 Camaro shell.)
Take a look at the ad and see for yourself what’s available. Reportedly there’s hundreds more vehicles in the same yard, so maybe this is a clearing-out. Either way, if you’re looking for a potential project, this would be a great place to start.
