We dig the Lincoln Mark VII around here. It’s our idea of a personal luxury coupe: take a popular performance platform (in this case, the Fox chassis), add some legroom, some extra niceties, keep the power up and give the passengers some plush seats to enjoy. Call it done. We tend to prefer the LSC models because they rock the Mustang GT’s 5.0L V8 and horsepower rating, but as long as it isn’t the BMW six-cylinder diesel, we can work with whatever is underhood. They were a cousin to the Ford Thunderbird and Mercury Cougar, so they got the Aero treatment early on.
One thing that no Lincoln Mark VII ever came from the factory with was a tandem axle setup. Or a bed, for that matter. Usually, the Lincoln that got cut-up and modified was the Town Car, since it’s body-on-frame construction was ideal for stretching out for limousines or for hearse work. Honestly, unless this is a flower car for funeral processions, we wouldn’t know where to begin with the story of this car. And judging from the color setup, we don’t think it was used in funeral services.
We’re baffled by the whole thing, but at the same time we’re kind of intrigued. What do you think?
I need this thing in my life like I need a barbed wire enema!
So… you bought it pronto.
At least the buyer will have some place to put all of the foolishness it would take to spend $9500(?!?!?!).
$9500 really remove a zero and it still won’t sell what a total abortion
lazy axle , ok , but do it properly 6 x 6
