An Original Tom McMullen Street Rodder Magazine 1932 Ford Roadster For Sale On Craigslist

Okay, this is a car we would not have expected to see for sale on Craigslist, but once again Jay found a surprise. At one of the fancy auctions, sure, but not Craigslist. According to the advertiser, this is the last of two steel 1932 Roadsters built by Tom McMullen for Street Rodder Magazine. This particular car was featured in Street Rodder in September of 1976 and featured all kinds of one off never before seen parts. One of those parts was the Moser Overhead Cam Small Block Chevrolet setup. It appears to come with the car as a complete engine, but may not actually be installed in the car at this moment.

This Tom McMullen Street Rodder Magazine 1932 Ford Roadster looks ready to cruise and ready to show. According to the ad the first roadster built sold for $700,000 at auction recently. The ad says Best Offer… so someone call him up and offer him whatever you can afford and see what happens.

This car ? Built by the legendary Tom McMullen ? Oh CraigsList ? WTF ?

I could be wrong here … but with the plethora of illegitimate and/or phony ads , con games and scams going on at CraigList at present …methinks this just might be a bit of a scam in the making
