The “WTF?” Files: Anybody Need A Double-Ended Dodge Omni?

I ask for your forgiveness for the rather crude description for what you are about to see here, but I couldn’t think of anything more adept for describing two Dodge Omnis that were cut up and molded into one twin-engined, double-operative creation. It’s like looking at the old CatDog cartoons, or some kind of sick joke. And we bet that it would do killer donuts on the loosest of gravel if given the chance, so long as the structural welds were done properly. But this is what you get: two early 1980s Omni front-halves combined into one machine that can crab-walk. Both ends keep their dashes and functional systems intact. One half keeps full interior, while the other is bare-floored and has a fuel jug sitting where the passenger seat should be, presumably to keep the four-cylinder under that hood fed. The seller claims that one of the steering systems can be locked for normal driving…we hope that system doesn’t involve the black bungee cord sitting on the driver’s seat.

It’s not like you’d be able to daily-drive something like this, so the missing title isn’t as much of a big deal as we’d normally make of it. Would you immediately throw this into 24 Hours of LeMons or fling it off of a ramp and see for yourself if having two is better than having one?
