When our pal Justin Oney sent us the link to this Craigslist add, I was intrigued. Then I got pissed because I shot Diet Mountain Dew out of my nose when I saw this thing. WOW! I’m not sure what Lamborghini the guy used to make his molds, or get his inspiration, but I’m pretty sure it was a wrecked one. Looking at the rear body section, it looks more like it’s made from paper mache than fiberglass. This is not good stuff. Then you take the fact that this kit car started life as a 1997 Pontiac Firebird, a car that came with a 300 horse LT1, and that would absolutely love a turbo LS powerplant under the hood, and realize that this one started life with the anemic V6. Contrary to the sellers opinions in his posting, this engine is neither HUGE or powerful in Firebird trim. And before you Firebird guys climb up my ass about saying that, I am well aware of what can be done with the 3800. And I think it’s cool. Now stop fuming.
Here is the original ad from Craigslist. Below that are more photos and a video of this particular Lamborghini Murcielago “burning the tires”. Have fun.

The video shows the car driving and BURNING RUBBER!!! Please note that the thin and light fiberglass pieces have no gelcoat and need a lot of work. The car has been painted flat black, but if you want a show car finish, then the entire car needs to be skimmed with bondo or filler putty and then sanded smooth (using a scrap panel and scrap chrome wrap, some of the last pics show steps to smoothing out the panels – spread, sand, and stick). Then the New Silver Mirror Chrome Wrap Roll (which is included!) can be applied or the car can be painted ( It can be wrapped in a few days, I can give the new owner links to videos that show how to easily do it, or pay a local car vinyl signs wrap shop about $200 to do it for you).
This car is based on a 1997 Firebird with a HUGE 3.8 liter 3800 Series 2 V6 (waaay more powerful than any stock Fiero V-6! And about 10 years newer!) that feels like a V-8 due to all the removed donor car body panels (see the video of it spinning the tires and burning rubber!). The heater and AC blow, but not hot/cold. It has an Automatic Transmission and the engine runs very strong at 174,000 miles. And the engine bay is clean, which leads me to believe the engine has been repaired or replaced recently, but I have no proof of that. The seats have covers since they are torn, so you may want to get a nice pair of racing seats that can be bought on ebay for $220 delivered! The interior has cracks and holes and missing pieces that could be bought cheaply on ebay. The car springs have been cut but you could add coilovers if you want a better ride. The doors NOW WORK!!! You could even have them open upwards if you install $200 Universal Lambo Door Hinges from ebay. The gas fill is currently in the stock location and can be filled through the bat wing area using an included extension. The fiberglass pieces (based on the more accurate G28 / Murci 2) have been mounted with screws. The donor car headlights and aftermarket tail lights, are not installed but are included. You can grinder cut $25 smoke plexiglass and cover the headlights and taillights. The front clip is removable for full access to the engine compartment.

Holy jeezus! WHY?!?!? Nothing like taking a car that could be worth something and spending lots of time and money to convert it into a car that’s worth nothing….
It should be painted brown so it looks even more like the TURD that it is. This guy should be banned from ever modifying another car EVER!!!!!
this THING makes my eyes hurt—WTF
Awe C’mon, Chad. I just ate. I would like to keep my lunch down. ***VURP!**
I wonder about the accuracy of the statement about the A/C and heat. I’ll bet that it blows hot in the summer, cold in the winter and “just right” on low humidity days with temps of 68-70 degrees F.
There’s kit cars and then there’s that… thing
Oh the humanity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MY EYES!
Given its underpinnings, I’ve got a perverse urge to put an LS1 and a T56 in it, throw a good suspension under it, add a roll cage, and take it to track days just to see if I can beat any real exotics with the worst fake ever.
Just when I thought I’d seen all that crappy cars there are, you throw this in the pot.
1) Its a KIT CAR .. and therefore not worth the price of the paper the title is printed on
2) Even so … trust me ….. as bad .. as fugly .. as vulgar , obscene and over the top as this is .. I’ve seen worse … much worse in fact … done to real Lamborghini’s …. not kit car wanna be’s
Having said that ..
Eeesh !
Well, it sure is something…..I’m just not sure what – I can’t say what I think it is and not get kicked off this site
It’s the same guy who made this one:

Looks like something that asshat George Barris would claim to have built.
It’d be a riot to take to a 24 Hours Of LeMons race
“Doors open now!” LMAO!
