It’s about time for some upbeat news, and what puts you in a better mood than a vintage Funny Car? Not much, so we went hunting on Craigslist to see if we could find a neat old flopper of some kind. Turns out we got better than just an old Mustang II body up in the rafters: we found an Opel Gasser body on a Funny Car chassis…and it’s street-legal! The seller even claims that it has Hot Rod magazine history, and while we don’t recall that, it could be true. Either way, this thing is a cool throwback to the ’70s. Not so much that we’d pay $16,900 for it, but even so, we feel better already.
